Priorities

District 5 is at the center of this work.

My priorities build on visible progress already underway: infrastructure, direct services, economic opportunity, youth and families, accountable leadership, and a stronger future for District 5 families.

District overview

I believe the work should be grounded in the needs and priorities of District 5. That means supporting infrastructure, practical services, community benefits, economic opportunity, and long-range planning that reflects the values of the people and delivers lasting benefit for the future.

  • Community identity and family-centered priorities
  • Infrastructure and service needs that improve daily life
  • Economic opportunity tied to real community benefit
  • Continuing to be a strong voice for District 5 in shaping the future

Infrastructure & Utilities

Continue supporting long-term investments in GRICUA's Transmission System Hardening Project, District 5 transportation plan, Fiber to Home Project, and other capital projects that strengthen system reliability for future growth.

Youth & Families

Support opportunities that help Community families thrive, including youth development, workforce pathways, education support, and services like the Boys and Girls Club in District 5 that help improve everyday quality of life.

Economic Opportunity

Advance Community Member owned business development, job creation, destination growth, and responsible long-range planning that creates lasting value for the Community by implementing the Targeted Economic Development Plan and creating lasting value for the Community.

Community Benefits

Continue advancing practical projects that improve daily life for residents, including the Subdivision Repaving Project and the District 5 Street Lighting Project, which enhance access, convenience, and direct support for District Members.

Community Voice

Lead with the understanding that progress must stay grounded in the needs, priorities, and feedback of the people of District 5.

Accountability

Maintain steady oversight, transparent leadership, and a results-oriented approach that turns priorities into visible action and results.

Community Needs

Advance practical safety improvements, including installation of a signal light at SR 587 and Nelson Road, while continuing efforts to address reckless driving in the District. District 5 deserves leadership that is committed to the issues that matter most to residents and families.

Opportunities

With the right planning and oversight, District 5 can continue building stronger community services, expanded economic opportunity, and visible long-term progress, while advancing the goal of true food sovereignty through collaboration with Community agricultural resources and farmers.

Shared Vision

My approach to service will always be rooted in the belief that District 5 should have strong representation, practical results, and a clear voice in the future of the Community.

Focus

Building on progress, not starting over.

These priorities reflect a simple approach: protect the progress already made, move visible projects forward, and continue delivering outcomes that strengthen District 5 and the Gila River Indian Community over the long term.
